Our range of treatments in foot surgery includes the surgical correction of congenital and acquired foot deformities.
In addition, joint-preserving and joint-replacing procedures are performed, for example, for osteoarthritis of the ankle and the metatarsophalangeal joint of the big toe. Another focus is the treatment of acute injuries and their sequelae. Both arthroscopic and open surgical techniques are used.

Dr. Herbig is a specialist in foot and ankle surgery.
He is a certified foot surgeon of the German Association for Foot and Ankle Surgery (DAF) .
He worked for many years in the section for hand and foot surgery at the University Hospital Mannheim.
Since 2009, he has been the head of the hand and foot surgery department at St. Marien Hospital in Ludwigshafen.
He performs outpatient foot surgery procedures in our outpatient surgical center, and inpatient procedures at St. Marien Hospital.
